I am an accomplished 3D animator who loves the technology aspect of producing creative solutions. My experience is in Medical Animation, but I am also interested in animation for gaming, film and tv, and special effects. Some of my areas of expertise include particle simulation and Unity game development. I take pride in my ability to solve complex technical problems and I am the recipient of an AMI Salon Award for one of my projects "The Science of Imagination". One of my biggest accomplishments was the development of a series of immersive, proof of concept experiences in Unity. These dynamic prototypes not only showcased the potential of VR but played a pivotal role in the establishment of the division. With my support and expertise, we were able to branch out into Augmented Reality, Web GL and other technically demanding solutions.
As the Technical Director I worked on many Medical Animations. I also provided technical support for the team and worked to research and implement new tools and techniques for the team. The majority of my work was in creating complex effect driven medical animation using 3ds max. I wore many hats at the company and completed various projects, including developing Unity interactive experiences for a myriad of platforms (eg. iOS, Oculus VR and AR applications), setting up and maintaining our internal render farm, video editing, providing technical support for the team, and researching new tools and techniques that would help in production.The majority of my work was in creating complex effect driven medical animation using 3ds max.
